Tailored to the individual

Our focus is to improve spoken English, both in ability and confidence.

Our courses are open to all 8-16 year olds who choose to study English as a second language.

To support all ages, common interests and learning patterns, our lessons tend to adopt a practical approach and involve out-of-classroom activities. This helps pupils to develop their language in a natural setting. With a strong emphasis on developing independent study and learning skills, pupils are enabled to continue learning English successfully once they’ve returned home.

Each pupil can book onto 2-4 weeks of our summer school programme, with each course consisting of at least thirty hours of English tuition. (The exact amount of classroom tuition will depend on the age of the individual pupil). This is the primary focus of our summer school curriculum, and is supported by a range of wider STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), creative, sports and general fun teambuilding activities.

Please view our lessons, activities and workshops below for further information on what is included.

Classroom-based lessons
